Sangeet Surya Keshavrao Bhosale was the only stage artist of 20″ century in india who has created a history in the stage acting and classical Indian music both vocal as well instrumental. Keshavrao Bhosale started own “Lalit Kaladarsha Natak Company” in 1908 at Dharwad Karnataka at the age of just eighteen. Not only this, Keshavrao provided employment to hundreds of stage artists and supporting staff of the industry. His was the only company who denied any financial help from rich parties and state rulers. He attracted common people towards dramas through his action and singing verees the helped artists like Bal Gandharva and needy people financialiy Apart from entertainment his dramas gave progressive messages taseciety. He was the most popular figure of his period.
